Question:Tudor Living Room

We live in a 1920’s Tudor house. Attached is a photo of our living room. It is a beautiful space with cathedral ceilings, a stone fireplace and a gigantic forged iron chandelier.

We just purchased two sofas and we already have a large rug in the room, but we are unsure what to do with the rest of the room so it will look “finished”. Right now it is just so bare looking.

We have a toddler, so part of our problem is finding pieces that are child friendly, with no sharp edges and that can not be toppled over. We were also thinking we would forego a coffee table and instead use a variety of side tables to fill the space. We don’t even know where to begin. Pieces with hidden storage are always a plus.
