- After the long chill of winter we’re eager for warmer weather. It’s almost time to fling open the doors and welcome spring, so now is the time to spruce up your outdoor spaces. This season, we’re introducing a mix of patterns, an unexpected pop of color and indoor comforts for an entirely new look. Do try this at home!
Punch it up with purple
Nothing revives a space quite like color. We love spring’s new crop of bold hues, and this vivacious plum is no exception. We weren’t afraid to go a little overboard, either. From accessories and serveware to the rug and pillows, we splashed it everywhere.
Pile on the comfort
Soften existing outdoor furniture with cushions and pillows. We added pillows in a mix of solids and traditional florals in complementing colors for a relaxing vibe. These fabrics are so durable you can leave them out and hose them off when they get dusty.
Add in interior details
Consider your porch or patio an extension of your home. Long, flowing drapes close in the space to keep the heat out, create privacy and add a sense of comfort. Side tables give you a place to rest your drink or magazines. And extra cushions or floor pillows make room for additional seating when the party arrives.

Debbie: We love the Sinclair Damask and the Black Canopy Stripe pillows – If you want a “pop” of color, try some solid Green Pillows to add to the mix.
