Too Much Leopard Print?

Dear Style Studio team,

Courbe OttomanI have the Courbe Ottoman with hand hammered nail heads (pictured right). I don’t know what color fabric to buy for them.

I have a lot of leopard in my house, and my furniture is kind of on the French side. My living room and dining room are open to each other so I can put them in either room. My ceilings are a light aqua blue and my walls are Manchester tan. I would love to make them leopard too, but is that too much leopard print around the house?

Please help…

Cindy

Dear Cindy,

Thank you for your question. Just remember that “less is always more.”

It depends on how much leopard you have in the room you are working in. If it is repeated more than three times in the space, it becomes too much.

So, here are some alternative fabrics for you to use: Chandra Celedon, Bryn Mawer or Linen Spa. We think any of these should work well with what you have.

Happy Decorating!
