Dear Style Studio team
This dilemma is causing me sleepless nights!
I have a wall of windows and would like to purchase a comfy sectional sofa. We have measured long and shorter ones. Does it need to be placed centered perfectly under the long window to be appealing or will it just look “off”?
I have a leather chair (the husband’s) and it’s the only piece to incorporate in the room. Everything else will go except for the wall pics.
I also would like a chair in contrasting colors to the left of fireplace but I may be stuck with leather chair in that position? Please help. I’m including one pic of a room that inspires me.
Many thanks,
Lisa
Dear Lisa,
We are excited about creating a plan for you so you can leave sleepless nights behind.
Sometimes furniture placement can be confusing when trying to work around architectural details. We recommend starting with a Baldwin Sectional upholstered in Natural Microfiber. This frame is incredibly comfortable and has great lines to it.
Next, to capture the essence of your inspirational picture, load your sectional up with pillows in Harlow Quilted Taupe, Crimson Twill, Indochine Ikat Denim and Moroccan Stripe.
Now you can add an Olivia Mirrored table in front of the windows and then, tucked in the corner, repeat Indochine Ikate Denim on a Colleen Chair.
We suggest placing in front of the sectional a Graham Ottoman wrapped in Indigo Microfiber.
Now you can move your husbands chair to left side of the fireplace along with our Compass Side Table for his drink.
Next, on the wall behind the chair, create a collection of all the scattered family photographs. A great way to hang the frames is with ribbon on our Filigree Monogrammed Hooks. Don’t forget about lamps to provide plenty of lighting when the room is dark.
To create a beautiful focal point in the room, we suggest hanging the Laraine Mirror above your fireplace and flank it with two simple candle holders. One last piece … to punch the red in the room, hang the Red Run Into Me Giclee Print.
Happy Decorating!
