Creating a More Welcoming Living Room

I would like a more welcome living room, which happens to be the first room you enter.

It doesn’t seem complete and it doesn’t seem to flow. In fact, it looks messy.

I like the color scheme of my pillows on the sofa and I would like to continue with this in other areas of the living room.

Your living area has good bones and our team has come up with a plan so that you can have a coordinated area.

First thing, we suggest painting the room a slightly darker color like Benjamin Moore Natural Wicker OC-1. We think you need a little more contrast between your walls and the color of your sectional.

Now hang our White Water II Giclee above your sofa to create your color palette inspired by your sofa pillows.

Next add pillows to your sofa in Apple Velvet, Document and SK Linen Mandarin.

We suggest placing our Bouclier Coffee table in Distressed Terra Cotta in front of the sectional and add the Olivia Mirrored table to the side.

To help ground your sitting area tuck our Sheridan Wool rug under the space.

Now we recommend that you replace the cushions in your chair with Athena Slate fabric.

Adding a new table lamp along with an updated floor lamp will add a fresh and modern feel to your lighting.

For an additional idea, try flanking your entertainment unit by hanging our Diamante Mirror on the wall and then place a Leather Cube in Moss below each one. Changing out a few items can really transform your space to one that is inspired.
