Redecorating My Living Room

Dear Style Studio team,

I would like to redo my living room and need some help. I want to make it less blah and I want to get rid of the red!

I just purchased the Crawley Rug in Nickel and I am having pillows made out of the Haviland Gray Fabric for in there as well.

I ordered way too much fabric so was thinking about purchasing a chair for the corner and getting that upholstered in the Haviland Fabric as well, but I’m unsure on type of chair since it is a small spot.

I think a upholstered ottoman would be great but I need help picking out an appropriate fabric (was thinking the blue family), lamps and other coordinating decor would be helpful!!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for any help you can provide in pulling this together!

Best,

Jennifer

Crawley Rug - Nickle

Jennifer,

The Crawley Rug is a great way to start a mini-redo on your living room.

To change your ottoman to a “pop” color is a real catalyst for a fresh and modern room.

Consider Velvet Teal for your ottoman. It is a gorgeous warm tone that will fit perfectly with your leather sofas.

Now let’s load your sofas with pillows in Velvet Teal, Haviland Gray and Imogene Blue for an additional color layering.

We suggest tucking our Chaffie Club chair, wrapped in Haviland Gray, in the corner for additional seating. Don’t forget to nestle a floor lamp behind the chair!

Change your lamps to the Malia Seeded Glass Lamps and for the final color pop … place the Emerald Lake Giclee over the fireplace mantel.

The Imogene Blue fabric appears to be no longer available. 🙁 Any other suggestions for a replacement of that?

    Thank you!!!

Jennifer … try Bryn Mawr as a replacement. This fabric has a little softer palette but still incorporates hints of teal to work beautifully with a Velvet Teal ottoman!
