Dear Style Studio,
I have a TV room upstairs but the doorway is 27-and-a-half-by-80 inches. The stairwell leading up to it is three feet wide.
I would like to put a comfy couch but am not sure what will fit through the doorway and I’m not too fond of beanbags.
Any suggestions?

Your narrow doorway is certainly a challenge but we think we have a great solution for your space!
As you can see from the floorplan we created for you, we recommend creating a group of swivel chairs as a starting point for your television room.
