We couldn’t have been more excited to sponsor Haven Conference again this year! It’s always a fun time, and we love being surrounded by other decor-philes! We thought we’d share all that went on during this fun weekend, starting with the living rooms we put together for the conference and ending with the fabulous party we were lucky enough to host!

For the past two years, we’ve loved providing furniture for the conference attendees to relax between sessions, sit and catch up with new friends, and even just check their email. To outfit the spaces this year, we were inspired by bold colors, especially coral! If anyone can get on board with a vibrant color and tons of pattern, we know its these stylish DIY and decor bloggers. We picked some of our favorite upholstered pieces and outfit them in a variety of fabrics — solids, patterns, and bold designs.
We got to go wild with bold patterns, like animal print, and we loved seeing everyone enjoying the spaces we designed.
Of course a space isn’t complete without an arrangement of fresh flowers and some of our favorite accessories.
We left no stone unturned in these ‘rooms,’ incorporating shimmering mercury glass, tons of throw pillows, and even lamps!
One of our favorite spaces was the Welcome area where we used two of our Tate Twin Sleepers, upholstered in a bold chevron print. These are ultra-comfy pieces, so we knew they’d make the perfect spots to sit down after hours of traveling!
In addition to furnishing the conference spaces, we hosted our second annual styling challenge! If you follow Ballard Designs on Instagram, you may have seen the photo above of everyone rushing to grab accessories! This year, we challenged conference attendees to style up a Ballard Designs Coffee table with accessories. Attendees were put in groups of 5 and given 10 minutes to show us their loveliest tables.

We were super impressed by all the gorgeous designs, but ultimately two teams had to come away as winners.

Congratulations to both winning teams!
Finally, we were thrilled to host a Welcome Party for all the Haven ladies, complete with cocktails, great food, and music! Below are photos from the evening!

I have crate and barrel twin sleeper. Would your slipcovers fit? They call it chair and a half.
Caroline @ How to Decorate
Hi Maria,
Unfortunately we can’t say for sure whether our slipcovers would fit another retailer’s upholstered items, but you could always compare the specifications of your twin sleeper just in case. It’s certainly worth a shot.
Sorry we can’t be more helpful!
Best,
The How to Decorate Team
