You may have seen these fun, glittery branches in our catalog or online. They’re rather unsuspecting if you only catch a picture, but they’re one of our secret weapons for dressing up your home for the holidays. They bring a little bit of sparkle wherever you need it, they’re endlessly versatile, and they’re so basically foolproof! Below, we’ll show you 3 of our favorite ways to use them:
1. On the Mantel
If you have a fireplace mantel in your home, you probably love decking it out for the holidays, as it often becomes a focal point of the holiday season — it’s where you hang stockings after all! Fresh garland dries out quickly with the constant heat of a fireplace, so it’s nice to have an alternative while still giving it that organic feel. We simply tucked a few branches among our mercury glass trees, and our mantel instantly felt festive without being over-the-top or too much work.
The best part about these branches is that they look beautiful without tons of work. Simply drape them around, and you’re done!
2. On the table
We love to mix these branches with real greenery and also traditional green garland. The glittery branches give just a bit of sparkle, plus you can use them year after year. With these tinsel branches from Suzanne Kasler, you can move and mold the branches to form any shape you need, which is wonderful if you’re mixing it with a rope of garland you already have.
Just tuck it into existing greenery, and you have a gorgeous centerpiece! We added a few other small flourishes like flameless tea light candles in mercury glass votives and some tiny ornaments too!
The gold, tinsel branches are such a fun way to give your holiday table a little glamour, plus you don’t have to fuss too much with flower arrangements or lighting tons of taper candles only to have to clean up the wax later!
3. In Your Christmas Tree
Of course we can’t forget the tree! Simply sticking the glitter branches into the boughs of the tree creates the most beautiful shimmery accent. It’s a great way to fill our your Christmas tree for even more sparkle and shine!
There’s no fussing involved at all. We literally just inserted the glittery branch and let it rest on the rest of the branches of the tree! Easy and elegant.
