We noticed that seven of our fabrics get the most love from our custom upholstery program, so we decided to make it easier than ever to get them to you. Order any of our upholstered pieces in one of our Select Fabrics and you’ll pay the low “Starting at” price you see throughout the catalog. The fabrics are:
Find them all here: Off-White Twill, Danish Linen Oatmeal, Trilby Basketweave Natural, Trilby Basketweave Drift, Trilby Basketweave Charcoal, Microfiber Chamois, and Microfiber Slate.
We thought it would be fun to share some inspiration of how to incorporate these fabrics into your home and which other fabrics and furniture pieces match them.
Trilby Basketweave Natural & Microfiber Slate
Based on one of the rooms in our Winter 2016 catalog, we used two of our Select Fabrics, Microfiber Slate on the Brook Recliner and Trilby Basketweave Natural on the Dakota Sofa. Once we had the two biggest furniture pieces, we accessorized with an X-Bench in our Serengeti fabric, a Serengeti pillow, a pillow in Queens Velvet Chartreuse, our Antelope Rug, Karen Lamp, Felicity Acrylic Coffee Table, a mirror from our Mirror Gallery, and a Clara Sunburst Clock.
Trilby Basketweave Drift & Off-White Twill
Not every dining room has to be a dramatic space, especially in an open floor plan where it connects to the living room and kitchen. Here we designed a space that’s neutral but still sophisticated and interesting. We love mismatched dining chairs, but using the same fabrics on both (in this case Trilby Basketweave Drift) keeps the look streamlined and sleek. We coordinated Trilby Drift with our Off-White Twill, Arryanna Taupe fabric, and Callisto Stripe Taupe.
Then, we grounded the space with one of our very favorite rugs, the Valentino Rug. This is such a gorgeous rug that matches the Trilby Drift fabric beautifully. It has a slight sheen to it which feels super luxe, which is why we used it in the dining room. It dresses up our Tatum Trestle Table just a touch. We always love our Eldridge Pendant, but the Rencourt has a similar look with a little more polish with candle clusters and rippled glass.
Finish it all up with Suzanne Kasler’s Feather Art, Bunny Williams Melange Dinnerware, and gold flatware.
Trilby Basketweave Charcoal & Microfiber Chamois
While all of our Select Fabrics are neutral, we love how they’re the perfect base for vibrant color. By using a bold rug, colorful art, and a pair of deep sapphire chairs, we created a lively room while using lots of neutral bases.
Together we used our Trilby Basketweave Charcoal, Microfiber Chamois, Harper Teal, and Queens Velvet Teal fabrics. We added the Casa Florentina LaMontagne Rug to echo all of the colors in Kiki Slaughter’s Whirlwind Quad-tych Art.
To bring out even more blues, we added a Leona Lamp in Teal, a pair of Amal Slipper Chairs in Queens Velvet Deep Teal, and a small accent table designed by Suzanne Kasler. We love the way all of these shapes and colors play together.

Is the Trilby drift a good choice for the Coventry sectional in a breakfast area? Is it stain resistant durable to wear etc

Is the Danish Linen Oatmeal swatch (at the top of this post) accurate? A search of your website yields a photo of a much deeper color…more tan than white (which is what your sample B looks like.) Makes me nervous to order an item with such a huge variance between the two.

CC,
Danish Linen Oatmeal is definitely tan. If you’d like we can send you a free swatch! Order one here.

I would love to see you do this with gray Mia dot. I want to use this fabric on a host and hostess chair but can’t decide what coordinating fabric would work on the other chairs and what drapery fabric.
