Get the Look: A Living Room with Pops of Color

Get the look of this living room with white and pops of color

If you’re somehow who gets tired of pieces easily, we think this is the room for you. We love the way a room with most neutrals acts like a blank canvas for color. When the whim strikes you, bring in some bold art, throw pillows, and maybe an ottoman and you have a totally new look or color palette without lots of commitment.

We started with an off-white base of White Dove on the walls, an Eton Sofa in Suzanne Kasler’s 13oz. Linen in Blanc, and even a white indoor/outdoor rug. Then, we started layering in color with a bold abstract piece of art over the mantel, a storage ottoman in a peacock, patterned fabric, and velvet throw pillows.

Once you bring in your layer of color, it feels bright, happy, and best of all, when you’re feeling your next color obsession, you can bring in new hues with no problem!
