10 Surprising Products You Didn’t Know We Had

Isabella charging station from Ballard Designs

Sometimes we surprise even ourselves with the clever products we develop. We love to solve problems around our homes, so thinking creatively about how to do that inspires our whole team. We’ve brought you some unusual items that you may not have known even existed. Here are some of our favorites:

Isabella Charging Nightstand

The Isabella Charging Nightstand (above) is one of those things you’ll wonder how you ever lived without. It has a built in surge protector for charging all of your devices, but a drawer keeps them all tucked away. No more tangled cords cluttering up your bedside table!

Custom bedskirt that comes in over 200 fabrics

Custom Bedskirts

Have you ever noticed the way interior designers love matching a bedskirt to a headboard? This is a great way to get the look of a bed at a more affordable budget, but if you don’t have an interior designer, you’re left trying to track down a seamstress and an upholsterer. Did you know we’ll make a matching bedskirt that coordinates with your headboard? Or you can send in your own fabric and we’ll make the skirt for you. Genius! And a great way to trick your friends into thinking you hired a fancy designer.

Teak outdoor bar from Ballard Designs

Outdoor Bar

Have you always wanted an outdoor bar or kitchen? A built in space isn’t exactly friendly on your budget, but we love our new freestanding teak bar! The teak ages beautifully the longer you have it outside, and it has shelving and even a spot for your cooler in the back. Great for backyard barbecues and neighborhood swim parties!

We bet you didn't know we sold wallpaper, did you?

Wallpaper

You didn’t know we sold wallpaper did you? We’ve picked the prettiest patterns in colors that match back to all of our favorite products, so you’ll know they coordinate with the fabrics, art, and draperies you’ve already purchased. Plus this strippable, washable, pre-pasted paper is easy to put up and take down so you don’t have to worry about the commitment.

Caleb coffee bar from Ballard Designs

Caleb Coffee Bar

We all could use more storage in our homes, but custom carpentry isn’t always in the budget. Our Caleb Coffee Bar is so versatile — use it for brewing your favorite beans or as a baking center or even just for extra kitchen storage where you need it. This versatile piece has an extra workspace on wheels so it can be tucked away when not in use and deep drawers for storing appliances, grinders, or extra coffee beans.

Acrylic Furniture & Accessories

Acrylic is a product you’ll often find vintage or at very high end stores, which is why we’re so excited to bring it to you at an affordable price. Our Alissa Acrylic Console is so pretty — perfect for a narrow entryway, a corner of your bedroom to use as a vanity, or even in a bathroom. The clean lines and transparent material means it can coordinate with nearly anything. Plus, it’s just so pretty!

I have been hoping your Puccini acrylic shelves would soon be restocked. In an attempt to find them, I ran across this article, mentioning acrylic. Are there any plans to bring the product back? Thank you!
