If you saw our Summer 2016 catalog, we bet you couldn’t help but swoon over the dining room designed by Entertaining Expert and Better Homes & Gardens Editor, Eddie Ross. This colorful space featured Square Back Louis Chairs in a vibrant red and magenta animal print, peony pink curtain panels, and bold art. We thought we’d share how to get this look in your own home.
While most of the foundational pieces were neutral (the walls were painted Benjamin Moore’s White Dove), the dining table was a classic whitewash pedestal table, and the rug was a natural fiber braided jute, it certainly felt fresh and vibrant. That’s because Eddie used color strategically — the chairs were upholstered in a bold hue and the curtain panels were bright pink. He then brought in accents of navy and chartreuse with dinnerware, napkins, abstract art, curtain trim, and two Helmes Wing Chairs upholstered in a Chartreuse Velvet.

I’m obsessed with Eddie ross modern mix dining room. I love the mix and match pop colors .
I would love to do something similar with my dining room using same chairs colors and same patters everything the same .
Except
instead of the white distressed color , can I use the same table but in the other finish color ? And also if I cant add some a aqua color accessories.?
The table Eddie is using is durable I mean heat resistance and if is hard to scratch?

Florecita,
As with any wooden table, heat could leave marks on any of our wooden tables, as wood water. The Andrews table Eddie used in this dining room is no different. We suggest using trivets, placemats, and coasters whenever you’re placing warm or wet items on your table!

I love the vintage cranberry wine glasses that Eddie used in the summer catalog 2016 dining table. Can Eddie tell me where I can find these and what company made them ? I LOVE them !
Lydia Merz
Hi Leigh,
Those are actually vintage glasses from Eddie’s own private collection.
