Feature Friday: Major Closet Makeover

We’re excited to share the first installment of a new series where we’ll be highlighting the homes of some of our favorite bloggers. We love the way they’ve used our products in their spaces, so we thought we’d bring these bright ideas to you!

Makeovers are always fun in our book! We’ll be honest though, they can really be daunting if you are planning on a head-to-toe room re-do. We have a makeover from Nicole Balch of Making it Lovely that will make your jaw drop. You may even think the before-and-after shots are from completely different homes.

Blogger Nicole Balch is updating her Victorian in Chicago and turned to our Sarah Storage Collection to revamp her wire closet system into a personal boutique. Don’t worry, she left a little room for her husband’s clothes too!

She started out replacing the wall-to-wall carpeting with hardwood flooring. Why stop there? Nicole made 3D models of her plan and went all out.

Psst — you can plan the layout of your own room with our Room Planner!

The Sarah storage units showcase her clothes perfectly so she can see all of her options without any hassle, just like a store.

We love how the mirrored door unit can open up so you can step back and see your whole outfit come together.

Another great piece that Nicole has is the Petite Shoe Tower — perfect for flats and heels. Every girl should have a tower of shoes! To top it all off, Nicole added some necessary glam with our Brass Tray to hold pretty perfume bottles, fresh (silk) flowers, and barrettes. We’re ready to play dress up in Nicole’s closet for sure!

Moral of the story: you shouldn’t be afraid to scrap a whole room and start from zero. Major makeovers can be fun and the result is always a reward.

Keep up the delightful decorating, Nicole!
