In our Feature Friday series, we’ll be highlighting the homes of some of our favorite bloggers and designers. We love the way they’ve used our products in their spaces, so we thought we’d bring these bright ideas to you!

This Friday, we are putting the spotlight on the room where many of us spend the most time — the kitchen! Julie Holloway of Milk and Honey Home is a residential and commercial designer who was faced with a kitchen, breakfast nook, and family room renovation in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.

As you can see, this was no small project! The old sink and counter space was transformed into an inviting breakfast nook, and the dark cabinetry was traded in for pristine, white finishes. The result was a gleaming kitchen with a modern update.

Julie’s client requested classic designs with a touch of French country. Our Buffalo Check Pillows fit the bill to make the bench cozy. She also incorporated our Laurenza Chandelier into the new breakfast nook, and our Metal Constance Counter Stools at the kitchen island. The rustic finishes add a touch of French country while staying elegant.

Julie tied the adjacent living room to the kitchen and breakfast nook by using the same colors and patterns, like raw woods and the same buffalo check pillow.

The final results of the kitchen, breakfast nook, and family room renovations create a light, airy, and inviting space perfect for bringing the family together.
