Hi,
I have purchased two traditional couches in a dark color. The third side is empty and has a yellow accent wall. My dilemma is what sort of chairs should I put on the third side? Should I use black tufted ones or a dark golden beige tufted one?
I also need help choosing a rug to match. Should the rug be grey or beige, plain or patterned?
I’m happy to change the coffee table and the rug.

Dear Raman,
We would like to make your new couches the focal point of the room by adding some cleaner lines to highlight the detail on your carved sofas. We can float new chairs to create a more open floor plan, add a console for function and art and mirrors for light and color.
With its warm brass frame and glass top, the London Coffee Table placed in front of the larger sofa, will keep the space feeling open and add a touch of elegance. We suggest a pair of Callahan Wing Chairs in Danish Linen Oatmeal to place opposite your larger sofa. Keeping them in a lighter tone will brighten the room and accent your darker sofas. Our Tabitha Rug in Dijon, French Gray and Cream will add a contrast to the dark floors and pull the yellow from the far wall into the room. An Alex Floor Lamp on each side of the smaller sofa will add some much need lighting and a Solaine Sunburst Mirror centered above adds sparkle and interest to this wall. The smaller Addison Tray Table accents this sofa and provides necessary space for drinks and books. The empty corner would look lush with a Bunny Williams Faux Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree.
We suggest placing a Rossi Huntboard sideboard against the fabulous yellow wall. It will add function to the space, with room for storage and also a place for serving. The lovely brass accents bring the warmth of the brass to this space in the room. The Golden Complexity Art above reflects the colors of the room. The Suzanne Kasler Large Gourd Lamp in Smokey Gray and the Set of Hammered Gold Trays finish the vignette.
We think this will create a lovely room for conversation and visiting with friends and family.
