Feature Friday: Julie Blanner’s Lake Cottage Patio

Blogger Julie Blanner's lake house deck with Ballard Designs Ceylon Teak Outdoor Furniture

In our Feature Friday series, we’ll be highlighting the homes of some of our favorite bloggers and designers. We love the way they’ve used our products in their spaces, so we thought we’d bring these bright ideas to you!

Last Feature Friday we introduced you to Julie Blanner and gave you a glimpse inside her breakfast nook. Julie and her family recently purchased a lake house and we just couldn’t resist sharing the classic cottage patio.

Using our Ceylon Teak Collection, Julie created a tranquil retreat where her family can gather and see picturesque views of the serene lake.

As you can see, the patio is rather large and extends the length of the cottage’s living room, kitchen, and garage. The dining set is positioned right outside of the kitchen so Julie and her family can conveniently go between the two spaces. The chaise lounges create another seating area outside of the living room perfect for reading a book and getting some Vitamin D! The best part is the fact that these chaises don’t get in the way of lake views from the inside the living room.

Opposite from the chaise lounges are two of our Wingbacked Chairs topped with outdoor throw pillows in mint and white striped Sunbrella fabric to finish off the patio.

Julie’s patio is set perfectly for dining al fresco, enjoying the peaceful outdoors, and creating lake memories for years to come.

Be sure to read more on Julie’s blog. She offers great tips for creating an effortless centerpiece here!
