A Whimsical Christmas Table to Steal

Bunny Williams always talks about how she loves to set a table and sees it as an art form. We couldn’t agree more, and during the holidays, we love to have some fun on the table. Inspired by our Merry Dinner Napkins and their whimsical design, we set this table for a family gathering.

We wanted to go classic with a red and green color palette, so we used preserved boxwoods and red flowers down the center of the table, interspersed with small wrapped gifts. Gifts are an easy, inexpensive way to bring color to your centerpiece. Choose wrapping paper and ribbon that complements your dinnerware pattern and tuck them between small vases of flowers.

Mixing and matching dinnerware collections keeps things interesting and can give your table a fresh look year after year. We layered red salad plates over our Jacqueline Dinnerware which has a stylized egg-and-dart pattern along a scalloped edge.

To emphasize the festive message, we folded the dinner napkins and wrapped them in red ribbon.

Of course we love to add in unexpected touches, like a candy cane placed at each setting. The holidays are a time you can have fun with playful elements to make guests feel special.
