Winter 2018 Catalog Paint Colors

Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black in Ballard Designs Catalog

We’re always looking for design inspiration, and we know you are too. That’s why for each new season, we like to share the paint colors we used in our seasonal rooms. In this post, we’re sharing all of the colors from our Winter 2018 catalog. Because we shoot in real homes, we’re not always at liberty to paint the walls, and in those cases, we’ve chosen paint colors that best match the wall color in the photo. Please be aware that color may vary due to various light conditions, finish and other factors. It’s always a great idea to test a paint sample on your wall first.

Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black, #SW-6258

We love bright and airy spaces, but there’s also something about a dark wall color that pumps up the drama. In these spaces, we chose a true black, Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black to set off white accents and make a strong statement.

Living room with sage green walls, black sofa, and bright yellow ottoman

Sherwin Williams Svelte Sage, #SW-6164

Sage green walls offer a subtle backdrop in these rooms. We chose Sherwin Williams Svelte Sage because it complements the blue rugs we chose in these spaces, sets off accents of white, and feels neutral without being plain.

Daybed with arm chair and large tufted ottoman in room with light gray walls in Sherwin Williams Silverpointe

Sherwin Williams Silverpointe, #SW-7653

Light gray is an easy neutral that just about goes with anything. We like Sherwin Williams Silverpointe because it has a touch of yellow in it, giving it warmth.

Home office with Sherwin Williams Samovar Silver on walls and patterned rug

Sherwin Williams Samovar Silver, #SW-6233

This light, blue gray color is a serene shade that works perfectly in a home office or bedroom, or anywhere you want to add a little zen. We used several shades of blue in all of these rooms, but they come together to create a soft, inviting space.

Home office in Benjamin Moore's Chantilly Lace

Benjamin Moore’s Chantilly Lace, #OC-65

If you’re looking for a clean, crisp white wall color, Benjamin Moore’s Chantilly Lace is a perfect choice. It has only a tiny bit of yellow and gray, so it’s not too warm or too cold.

Is it a bedroom that you’re looking at? Would you mind describing the room so we can give you a better idea?
      Thanks!

      Gina,
I don’t know this color. It was already painted and we don’t have the paint name. I’d take this photograph to your paint store and have them match it.
      Best of luck!
