Spring 2021 Paint Colors

Spring is finally here and it’s time for your walls to stop hibernating. We love this season because flowers are blooming, the weather is warming up, days are getting longer, and Summer is right around the corner. This year we were inspired by earthy greens, cornflower blues, and fun pops of color, as you’ll see with our paint choices.

Please be aware that color may vary due to various light conditions, finish and other factors. It’s always a great idea to test a paint sample on your wall first.

Ballard Designs Spring Catalog Paint Colors

Downpour Blue #2063-20, Benjamin Moore

April showers bring May flowers, so it felt fitting to use Benjamin Moore’s Downpour Blue. In this dining room, we chose this bold backdrop to complement the mixed materials, from the dining chairs to the mirror.

Hancock Green #HC-17, Benjamin Moore

This spring we are all about green. This pastel green looks fantastic paired with the various colors of this room, including the petal pink chairs and spa sofa.

Glass of Milk #P260-1, Behr

We always love using this creamy white wall color from Behr because it’s not too cold and not too yellow. As you can see in these rooms, it’s versatile enough to use with any color palette. It’s the perfect neutral backdrop for bold mossy greens, to bright pops of orange and pink.

Palisades Park #439, Benjamin Moore

We just could not get enough green this season. In solid bedding, outdoor fabrics, and in floral prints, we were thrilled to splash rooms with greenery and color. In this room, Benjamin Moore’s Palisades Park feels like a fresh and calming retreat.

Denim Wash #838, Benjamin Moore

This cornflower blue paint color from Benjamin Moore gives these rooms a relaxing, coastal feel. This mid-tone blue works beautifully with white woods and upholstery, also wooden tones and woven pieces, like the ottoman, console table, and desk chair.

Hi, I am wondering what color paint is used in combination with the Alana Blue fabric in the below picture that is on the website with the fabric swatch. It looks like an apple green but I don’t know the brand or exact color. thanks.

Unfortunately I don’t have information on the paint. I would suggest showing a picture of the sideboard at the paint store and they can match it for you.
      Best of luck!

Hi, I’m hoping for cream or ivory paint color suggestions to match the Ballard green Isabella curtians. Spefically, I’d love to know the paint color (or a suggestion like it) from the January 2021 catalog. It appears that this paint color runs throughout the January 2021 catalog. Specifically, see pages 10 and 11. Thanks!!

I love Ballard Designs. I’m having such a hard time picking a paint for a southern facing shore home. I’m working with dark blue sofa and loveseat with white and gray kitchen. Everything looks blue in the bright sunlight. I love your rugs and fabric choices too.
