Hi How to Decorate Team,
We are in the process of renovating our master bathroom. I am very excited about how things are looking so far.
My problem is that I have no idea how to decorate my new space! I’m not sure what type of picture to hang above the tub.
Also, I don’t know if I need anything on the wall to the left of the larger vanity and in the toilet room. I’ve been trying to figure out what to put on the vanity as well.
I have ordered frames for the mirrors. I would appreciate any tips and advice you can offer.
Thanks in advance!
Allison
Allison,
Congratulations on your renovation! You have done an incredible job.
A few art pieces will help you to finish out your new bathroom. We think a great piece over your tub is our Falling Leaves Giclee. It has all the warm tones of your surfaces but also has pops of blue that your can repeat throughout the rest of the space.
To the left of the large mirror, consider stacking three of our Entomology Plaques in a bronze finish. These three plaques are great little pieces and perfect size for your particular space.
To bring light in the area around your toilet, we suggest stacking two or three of our Garden District Mirrors. This idea will also make the room appear somewhat larger than it really is.
Your vanity will look great with something for height, like a Button Leaf Topiary or two, and then add the Bali Rattan Tray to catch all the small toiletries. And don’t forget the ultimate spa items – a great bathrobe and some posh towels!
A few pieces here and there will finish off your space and your bathroom will complete in no time!
Happy Decorating!

Thank you so much for your help! I love your ideas. A few questions though….I cannot find the Bali Rattan Tray on your website. Is it still available? Also, what color towels would you suggest using? My adjacent master bedroom is a bluish greenish color….it’s actually the master bedroom that you featured on May 28 (Accessories for a Master Bedroom). Thank you!!

Allison – Products are sometimes removed unexpectedly. As an alternative, try our Southern Living Set of 2 Rectangular Trays. You could use the second tray as a bonus for your bedroom or the kitchen! Looks like bunches is getting done in your home … have fun!
