Help Me Decorate My Foyer

Dear Style Studio,

Can you please help me decorate my Foyer? We have just moved into our new house.

The colors (except the wall) will be changed.

Thank you,

Rosie

Rosie,

Congratulations on your new home! What an exciting new adventure.

The entryway is important since it is the first impression of your new home, so make it beautiful and memorable!

As you take the first step inside, lay out the Colby Rug as the  first hint of your entryway color story. This rug has beautiful tones that will beautifully combine the floor, handrail, paint color and artwork.

Because your stairway is curved, the curved wall below it is calling for a round table. We suggest one of our 30-inch Terrific Tables skirted in blue linen as a focal point. Don’t forget to top it with a protective glass top and then load it up with varying height accessories … like our Avery Terrarium.
Consider even adding a lamp for beautiful soft lighting during the evening hours.

Pull in our St. Simons Chair, in a dark finish, as a resting spot to check for last minute details before running out the door. We suggest wrapping it in Imogene Blue.

On the large wall to the left when coming in the front door, we recommend hanging the Crown and Crest Linen Tapestry and then settling a Marlow Bench below it.

Since there is plenty of room on this wall, you might consider flanking the tapestry piece with wall sconces as a final touch.

As your first guest arrive to enjoy your new home, they will be refreshed with the cooler hues of your new space.

Happy Decorating!
