Dear Style Studio,
We recently moved and I can’t figure out how to decorate and accessorize our dining room. I have three small children, so it would need to be child friendly.
Once you walk into our house, you see the dining room and living room (shared space) so I want it to flow and be pleasing to the eye. We only use the dining room for holidays, so it does not get too much use.
I have thought about putting lamps but with the Tiffany style chandler it just seem too busy. I have a decorative bowl on the table now but I am not too crazy about it because it feels a little to match with the chandler.
Would love some ideas for what to put on the buffet, on the walls and on the table.

Adding a few key pieces will bring a fabulous finished look to your dining area.
We suggest you start the styling with a fantastic rug. Adding a rug will ground the table and bring an additional layer of color to your space. Our Geneve Rug in Green is a fabulous choice. It’s durable … perfect for busy little feet.
We suggest Field of Poppies for a piece of artwork above your buffet. Next, we recommend adding two Lasalle Buffet Lamps on top of the buffet to finish it off. The profile of these lamps won’t overpower the dining room and work perfectly with your Tiffany light fixture.
For a touch of whimsy, consider adding Pierre the Pig to the center of your dining table. He comes with lots of personality and is fun to decorate for each season of the year.
As a final styling suggestion, try hanging linen drapery panels on each side of your windows to give another layer of color and texture. Hang them on an dark iron rod to repeat the finish of the buffet lamps.
