Housing all of your media components in one place makes great sense, but it can be an expensive venture. Of course, we offer lots of beautiful media consoles, but if it’s not in your budget right now, we found an easy, inexpensive way to turn an existing armoire or console into a one-of-a-kind media center.
They’re called “Furniture Cord Hole Cover Kits” and you can buy one for very little money at your local hardware or home improvement center. The project will also require a drill bit to create the hole you’ll need in back for the cables to fit through. When you purchase the kit, ask the sales associate to help you with the proper tool selection.
So look around your house. You may have a cabinet – perhaps one like our Dehaviland 3-Drawer Console – that would look great as a media center. All it takes is a little ingenuity, a couple of hours and a few simple tools.
