One of the first themed parties I ever attended was a “white party” in New York City. Every piece of furniture had been wrapped in white, and white flowers covered the buffet and the bar. All the food and drinks were white. The effect was truly ethereal and magical!

When you throw your own white party, remember to ask everyone to wear white. It adds to the décor and the mood. This party would be a great wedding shower or reception party, too!

Ask all your guests to wear white to reinforce the theme.
Pour the champagne cocktails as soon as the first guest arrives and place them on the buffet table.
