It’s still August, so you’re certainly thinking, fall color palette? Are you crazy? It’s still 90+ degrees outside. And we understand, we really do, but sometimes dreaming of cooler weather gives you a nice reprieve from the scorching summer heat. Which is why we’re getting inspired to feather our Fall nest!
Our Patterson Spice fabric inspired this living space and was boldly used to upholster our new Mason Sofa with Aged Brass Nailheads. Warm chocolatey browns, splashes of metallics like copper, and a few cool touches like our Linen Panels in Gray bring warmth and balance here. To compliment our Patterson Spice, we used Suzanne Kasler’s Signature 13oz. Linen in Mandarin, our new Leo Brown Fabric, and our new favorite neutral, Danbury Khaki.
Once you’ve grounded your space with your fabrics and a warm wall color like Benjamin Moore’s Jameson Gold, it’s time for the fun part — accessories! We wanted to bring little hints of metallics in this space, like our Bronze Garden Seat, our Sienna Artesinal Tray, and our Desk Globe which has an elegant brass stand. Lastly, one of our favorite ways to bring a warm, cozy feel to your living room is by bringing in a little something handmade. Here we used our Joss Earthenware bowls. Their colors coordinate beautifully with our palette, but their unique hand thrown glaze is that special touch that is really enchanting!

I love everything about this room. I have a sofa almost exactly like the one shown and have been struggling to come up with a color scheme and accents to match. None of the objects in the picture are available on the Ballard website. How can I purchase these items?
Caroline @ How to Decorate
Hi MaryAnne,
We’re thrilled to hear that you love this room. Unfortunately, many of these items have been discontinued, you’re correct. We might suggest the Classic Garden Seat in Burnt Gold which is pictured above, the Tortoise Votive Holders, our Signature Velvet Pillows in either Espresso or Sand, and perhaps a Found European Doughbowl.
We hope this helps!

Thank you so much for responding so quickly! I did purchase the garden seat and the pillows in the mandarin and griege fabric as well as found some other accents. I was really looking for the grey curtains which are not available any longer. Is it possible there is an overstock somewhere? Fingers crossed. Thanks so much!

Hi MaryAnne,
Unfortunately since those drapes were discontinued, we don’t have any more in stock. We’re so sorry!

I love the Jamestown Gold color and pallette for the bathroom I’m remodeling. .What wall color can I use on another wall? I have Benjamin Moore wedgewood grey in my livingroom and the kitchen is BM- Lady Finger. (Just ordered a table for my living room!!
Will I be able to purchase as shower curtain in the paisley print and animal print towels? WOW this is the effect I’ve been looking for and you’ve put it all together for me!
What is the name of the carpet shown in they vignette?
Thank you….vickie

Hi Vickie,
We’re so happy to hear that you like this room, and we’re glad we could help! The rug in the photo is our Stratton Tufted Rug.
As far the the shower curtain, we do not sell a shower curtain in our Patterson Spice paisley print, but you might consider our Burlap Shower Curtain with Bullion Fringe instead. It has a similar color palette, and would look fantastic with animal print towels!

What is the paint color on page 47 of the September catalog?
Caroline @ How to Decorate
Hi Diane,
Thanks for your comment. The paint color in that entryway photo is Benjamin Moore’s Jamestown Gold (#HC-88). Hope that helps!
