With Thanksgiving officially come and gone it’s time to look forward to the most wonderful time of year, Christmas.
Vinewood Plantation provided the most idyllic backdrop with gorgeous green barns, acres of untouched grounds, and a large leafy canopy courtesy of a pecan tree to set the holiday dinner table under.
A pair of Ballard Designs Upholstered X Benches and Thurston Wing Back Chairs came to life in plaid, thanks to Suzanne Kasler’s fabric. Just to make sure I didn’t miss any opportunity to spread holiday cheer, I added a wreath to each chair for good measure.
The table was set with a seasonal floral centerpiece from Lindsay Coletta Designs which sat perfectly in Bunny Williams’s Gilded Sculptural Bowl. I used two golden reindeers, also from Bunny Williams’ collection to bring some whimsy to the table and to flank the centerpiece.
Oranges with cloves are a classic holiday accent, plus they have the loveliest fragrance! We filled the air and a Mercury Glass Pedestal Bowl with a warm spiced aroma, and to top it off, we served a spiked cider.
The place settings were kept classic with the Holiday Garland Tableware, Maison Flatware, and place card holders.
A small forest of outfitted Christmas trees, yards of garland, and packages tied up with string graced the entrance to the barn.
The floating mantel dripped with fresh garland and flameless candles, and on the pecan tree, we created a focal point with a set of Suzanne Kasler’s Atelier Antlers. They gave the rustic space a little polish and provided an unexpected twist.

This flatware is not the mason flatware purchased from Ballard Design. It is a different style. Love it…
