14 Easter Table Setting Ideas

Easter table setting ideas

Easter is often a time when we gather with family members for a big meal. There are eggs to hunt, sunny days to enjoy, and family members to be grateful for. Traditionally, Easter is celebrated with a big family lunch, so we’ve gathered together some of our favorite table settings to inspire your Easter lunch.

Linens in dinnerware in a monotone shade feels warm and unexpected

Going monotone with your dinnerware and table linens is certainly unexpected, but it’s a pretty, modern way to do a Spring table.

Our Entertaining idol Bunny Williams insists on using place cards whenever she holds a dinner party. You don’t always have to go the conventional route with a place card holder, though. Here, we used a waxy, green leaf!

Fold a napkin like this for a polished but casual look

Fresh greens are wonderful colors to blend with your classic neutral pieces. Just a brightly colored plate, flower arrangement, or napkin is really all you need to bring Spring color to your table.

Aqua linens spice up simple white dinnerware

Robins Egg Blues have a very Easter feel that we just love. We also used flatware with a mother of pearl handle for this table setting.

A ribbon gives a simple folded napkin a little personality

Not sure how to bring Spring color to your table? Tie a pastel ribbon around each napkin for a simple accent of color.

With their pretty green, we love the idea of using our Artichoke Accent Plates on your Easter table. Perhaps serve a pasta salad with artichokes at your lunch?

Place a folded napkin horizontally across the dinnerplate

For an elegant, Easter table setting, bring out all of your neutrals. Then punctuate these soft colors with a flower arrangement of white tulips. The fresh green leaves will wake up all those warm neutral tones.

Accents of pink give this place setting a ladylike feel

Ribbon is a simple, inexpensive way to bring color to your table. We used a small piece of pale pink velvet ribbon to wrap around each napkin. When paired with a pink flower arrangement, the table feels happy and inviting!

Faux apples and Bunny Williams Melange Dinnerware

We love the citron banded dinner napkins from Bunny Williams’ collection, especially when paired with plates from her Melange Dinnerware and a faux apple!

Jute twine is wrapped around a dinner napkin

A piece of jute twine is a fun accent on a table. Here, we wrapped it around the napkins. It’s easy and inexpensive. Voila!

Ceramic hang tag and sprig of rosemary

Ceramic Hang Tags are a really clever way to do place cards. Simply write on them with a dry erase marker, and place them at each setting. Here, we also added a sprig of rosemary to the plates for something unexpected.

Persimmon napkin paired with a stripe table cloth

Orange may not be your first thought when you think of Easter, but when paired with Suzanne Kasler’s wide stripe fabric, it feels super chic and festive.

We love using Bunny Williams’ Watering Can Place Card Holders on an Easter table. Garden accents always feel very festive this time of year, as new growth is sprouting, the weather is warming, and we’re all spending time outside hunting for eggs!
