1 Fabric, 4 Ways: Ticking Stripe

4 ways to use a classic ticking stripe fabric

When we’re designing fabrics, it’s always fun to envision where those designs will live in our customers’ homes. In the case of a classic ticking stripe, there are limitless ways to use this never-go-out-of-style print.

A small ticking stripe looks fantastic as a dining chair cushion (here, we have it on our LeMans Dining Chair). Since the scale of the stripe is small, it works well for items that don’t have a lot of surface area. We also can’t help but love a stripe in the bedroom — on a bedskirt, duvet, and even a headboard. An orderly bedroom is a relaxing space, which is why we love using stripes here!

If you’re a little more daring, perhaps you want to use a ticking stripe on a large sectional. A print is actually a great choice for a large upholstered piece because it hides stains so well! Here, we’ve used it on our Eton Sectional. And if you really just want to bring a touch of ticking into your home, a simple throw pillow works beautifully.

So which way do you like this print best? Would you use our Ticking Stripe in your own home?
