Get the look of the Southern Living Idea House

We’ve been totally smitten with this year’s Southern Living Idea House, designed by our friend Bunny Williams. It’s everything a farmhouse in the countryside of Virginia should be: welcoming, relaxed, and designed around the show stopping pastoral landscape! After taking the tour of the house, we wanted to replicate the gorgeous rooms Bunny to use in our own home. Here’s how we did it:

Entryway

The entryway is the first space you see, and we love how it feels polished, but not too perfect. You’d certainly feel at home walking into this space if you’re visiting for the weekend!

Living Room

We especially love the color palette (warm corals and spice colors) in this room which has a warmth to it that invites you to sit back and relax.

Dining Room

We were thrilled when Bunny let her Campbell House Dinnerware inspire the dining room of the Idea House. A palette of blue and white is so classic, and we could definitely enjoy a meal or two in this space.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is everything a master should be — luxuriously appointed with everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Porch

The breezeway in the Southern Living Idea House was one of our favorite spaces because it’s just so cozy. What a perfect spot to take in the gorgeous country view and either sip on your morning coffee or have a glass of wine at the end of the day.

      Kim,
You can find all of the sources for the 2015 Idea House here. According to the resource guide, the wall is a Venetian plaster, so there’s no color listed. The ceiling color is Sherwin Williams’ Ibis White (SW7000).
      Happy Decorating!
