7 Wallpapered Looks and Why We Love Them

Wallpaper has the ability to completely transform a room, and we love the way it can make any room (even something as mundane as a laundry room or office) feel special. Read our ode to wallpapers and why you need at least one in your home:

Once upon a time, wallpapers brought to mind your grandmother’s dining room, calico prints, and coordinating borders at the molding or chair rail, but we swear, wallpaper has entered the modern era. They’re a great way to bring fun pattern, color, and texture into a space, and with so many options out there, you’re certain to find at least one that you love!

1. Tiny Pattern In a Big Way

Looking for pattern and color? Our Tiny Leaf Wallpaper is a beautiful option to wake up your room, especially paired with a solid and neutral piece like our Crawford Shiplap Entry Cabinet. It’s just enough pattern to give the room excitement without being too distracting.

The petite design is created from tiny stylized leaves printed in soft white against a field of inviting color.

2. Paisley Prints

Paisley spices up even the dreariest rooms, like the office. Who’s really dying to spend time in a work space that feels so utilitarian? A little wallpaper can turn things around, we swear. Plus, the iconic shape is in evenly spaced rows so it acts like a stripe and a print.

3. Delicate Pattern

In this space, we used our Delicate Fern Wallpaper to add even more of a feminine touch. The delicate design of the fern pairs well with the other floral accents that are already in this room. Because the color is neutral, it doesn’t make too much of a bold statement and could work in other rooms, like a bathroom or bedroom.

4. Bold Damask

If you’re looking to make a dramatic statement, then our Tropical Damask Wallpaper is the way to go. With its lush florals, birds and botanicals, this wallpaper creates a rich background of pattern and color that is guaranteed to wow anyone who sees it.

5. Chic Striped Walls

You know we love stripes — rugs, fabrics, art, and even lampshades. We dig them, so it should come as no surprise that we love a wallpaper too! Stripes work well in so many different rooms because they’re bold but very clean. The linear pattern makes rooms feel larger, and they’re simple enough not to compete with patterned upholstery or rugs. Here we used our Ticking Stripe Wallpaper to add an extra pattern to the mix.

6. Texture with Grasscloth

When you want rich solid color and natural texture, grasscloth is the perfect wallpaper choice. Wall coverings made with grasses date back to 1st century China, and became hugely popular in the 1970s. Today, grasscloth wallpapers are right on-trend and have become a go-to favorite among top designers.

7. Subtle Waves

When you want lots of color and just enough pattern to keep things interesting, our Patterned Wave Wallpaper is a great option. We love how this modern wallpaper has a petite chevron design that adds subtle movement while letting the color dominate, so it can act like a solid.

      Sharon,
It really depends on what you like best, but we typically recommend a round coffee table to help break up the straight lines of a sectional.
      Hope that helps!

      Elaine,
Unfortunately the smallest size square pillow that we sell is an 18″ pillow, but you can order them in several different aqua colors (linen, velvet, cotton, etc). You can find our 18″ square pillows here
      Hope that helps!
