Its in my home office, I just hate when everything matches. I was looking for an antique bookcase with file drawers but no luck. I need to get this finished. Please any help would be appreciated

      Hi Michelle,
Yes, we certainly think you can mix and match!! Black is such a staple color, that it would definitely blend with the dark gray you already have. White would work well too!
Sounds like it’ll be a beautiful space,

Dear Suzanne: We met and shared a lunch at a medical convention sooo…. many years ago. It was right after the printing of the magazine cover featuring the “floral slipcovers” in your home on the island. How I loved that look! I still have the magazine. I’ve watched your career blossom and grow with your talent and hard work. Many of your ideas, I’ve tried to incorporate in my homes over the years. It’s exciting to see all the amazing new ideas and fresh looks you come up with. Keep up all the amazing great work. My best wishes to you.

      Hi Amy,

The blue paint color is Benjamin Moore’s Newburyport Blue (#HC-155). For the cream wall color on page 71, we recommend trying Benjamin Moore’s Spanish White (#943). Just be sure to test a swatch on your wall before painting the whole room, as some paint colors can read very different from one space to another.

I just found out Ballards is out of the Mackenzie Plaid fabric – will they be receiving more in the future? I want to plan a whole room around that beautiful plaid!

I bought the 42inch Biarritz console in black . What would you suggest I put above it , a picture or a mirror or something else entirely. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Valerie: You can use the Mackenzie plaid for drapes but we do recommend that you line the fabric to give it some body.

Why can’t I use the S.Kasler Mackenzie plaid material for drapes if it is lightweight?
