Here at Ballard, we love houses. We love decorating them, we love coming up with solutions to solve problems, and we love living in them. So when we develop a new product that we all love, well we just can’t wait to share it with you! That’s the case of our new Scatola Organizer. This clever little bin can work in nearly any room. It’s perfectly sized to hold file folders for an office, and it works like a charm in an entry for mail, keys, and other knick knacks that come in the door.
We thought we’d share with you our three favorite ways to use this fun little bin — maybe it’ll spark some ideas for your own home!
Office Storage
The three bins in our Scatola Organizer are perfectly sized for 8×10 paper, so you can use them to hold file folders, spare computer paper, magazines, or incoming bills or mail.
Since it’s shallow and not super tall, this baby can go anywhere. We love it paired with our Durham console (which would be fantastic in an entryway!), but it can also sit directly on your desk or in the middle of a conference table!
Bathroom Storage
Baths are a tricky place to bring in extra storage, especially if you don’t have a vanity or cabinets already. We love the way this narrow little bin can store extra hand towels, soaps, tissues, or bathtub essentials like salts and oils.
Maybe it’s just us, but we love seeing warm woods paired with those cool, matte white tiles. Bathrooms can start feeling so cold when there’s hard tile everywhere, and little hints of wood like this bin help warm things up!
A Decorative Focal Point
Another pretty way to use this handy little bin? Create a decorative focal point by using old, found bottles to create a floral arrangement. Just put a single flower in a bottle, then fill the bin with bottles for a unique look that injects your space (we’re picturing a dining room or hallway) with color and personality!
Ranunculus and tulips are pretty for spring, but change them out year round. Use hydrangeas cut from your yard in the summer, single fern fronds, and even fallen foliage in the Fall.
The possibilities are endless, and best of all, you can move this bin from room to room and let it serve different purposes. Maybe come winter, it migrates to the mudroom to hold mittens and scarves!
