How to Use our Double Boot Tray

Our Double Boot Tray has been a customer (and office!) favorite for years — it’s just so darn practical. But everything can be improved upon but looked at anew once in a while, so we’re delighted to bring an even more useful boot tray to you in our Spring Collection. Here are our three favorite ways to use it around the home.

In the Entry

Obviously our Double Boot Tray is meant to be used in an entry to serve as a landing spot for muddy boots, rather than tracking that grime all through the house. But we found that these two lipped shelves can hold all sorts of things.

Place shoes on the bottom shelf, incoming mail on the top shelf, sidewalk chalk for the kids, sports equipment, and the sides of the boot tray has spaces for umbrellas and hooks for totes. Super functional!

Indoor Potting Bench

If you’re a green thumb, your mudroom or back door has likely become a dumping spot for trowels, gardening gloves, and other supplies. A boot tray is a perfect solution to keep these items organized. Hooks are great for hanging up necessities, your gardening clogs can be tucked away, and the lipped containers are great for any drainage from pots and tools.

And in the winter when you need to bring in small plants from the cold, this is a great place to store them.

For Pet Supplies

Our little furry friends need a command station too. Here’s a great way to keep it all in the same spot. We’ve even added pet food bowls at the bottom, where it’s easy for them to reach, and it keeps any spillage from getting on the floor.

Our sneakers are at the ready for an early morning walk, and store leashes and collars on the hooks on the side.

One of our favorite tips for new pet owners? Keep an old towel by the back door for when its rainy or your pup has had too much fun at the park!
