3 Ways to Use our Harper Bar

3 ways to use our Harper Bar

While we all want our house to be beautiful, it’s even more important that it functions for our life. That’s why we love creating furniture pieces that are hardworking and functional for modern life. We’re excited to introduce our new Harper Bar which is packed with storage for all of your barware, but with brass accents and sleek lines, it’s a piece that brings instant chic to your space. Of course if you have no use for a bar, we can imagine a few other ways to use this gorgeous piece!

3 ways to use the Harper Bar from Ballard Designs

Beauty Bar — We love the idea of packing the Harper with all of your beauty products and baubles to create a chic spot for primping! The mirrored back is the perfect height for spritzing perfume or putting on makeup, and open shelving means your favorite glittery pieces are easy to spot.

Cocktail Bar — Obviously we designed the Harper Bar for making your favorite aperitif. We outfitted Harper with plenty of hanging storage for glassware, cabinet doors with shelves for storing bottles, and a drawer for keeping those handy things like napkins and bottle openers.

Snack Bar — If you’re hosting a party, the Harper Bar can easily transform into a place for serving your favorite treats! Use the pullout shelf to add another space for storage, hang a cute sign, and your sweet tooth will be thanking you.

Love this bar but wish it came with choice of metal color; silver or black iron. I have an industrial loft and this piece would be perfect except for the brass….

Why don’t you paint the legs with King Sized permanent black Sharpie marker. It gives a shiny black metallic finish. I’ve done this with my lamps, and they look very sleek and modern. Apply painters tape to the wooden edges to protect them. You’ll need several markers, and you can order them in four packs on amazon.
