In three days, it’s officially Fall which means the start of the entertaining season. While that may give of you a chill, we love this time of year when we get to spend time with friends and family in our homes that we’ve spent all year working on. So it should come as no surprise that we love dreaming up new tabletop looks to celebrate the season! Inspired by the colors and textures of fall, we pulled together this dining table featuring our Wood Bark Chargers and Bunny Williams’ Campbell House Dinnerware.
Ochre is undoubtedly one of the colors that comes to mind when we think of fall — think firewood, changing leaves, and caramel apples — and we love this hue mixed with ever-classic navy. Together they feel rich and warm, everything you want to evoke on a chilly night having dinner with friends.
Bunny Williams designed her blue and white Campbell House Dinnerware to mix and match with both new and old dinnerware pieces, so we took this opportunity to pair it with our Cafe Dinnerware with a blue band and her Cobalt glassware.
When we’re pulling together our dinner table, we like to think of bringing unexpected textures together. Our wood bark chargers mixed with classic blue-and-white is the perfect examples. The rough, rustic texture of the chargers contrasts with the more elegant lines of the blue and white. But somehow it all works!
Around the table, we used Bunny Williams’ new dining chair in our Queens Velvet Saddle fabric. This fabric is simply delicious — a warm caramel color on this super soft velvet. Perfection! We also love the way the back of her chair hugs the round table.
Finally, we topped off everything with oak leaf hydrangeas — the perfect accent to our ochre pieces, like the chair, charger, and napkin. Once our table all set, all that’s left is to start working on our menu!
