Dear How to Decorate,
I plan on contacting you for major help when we go to our newly purchased town home in Cape Coral, FL next month. Along with limited light (we are not an end unit), front is east-facing and back is west-facing. We have the added darkness that is created by the lanai!
I haven’t a clue as to trying to carry a neutral tone of paint throughout upstairs and downstairs or select based on room. As for the furniture and the placement, again I will be met with an open living room and dining nook not to mention the front door opens up immediately into this area! I just happened upon your website and hopefully when I have the ability to take pictures and obtain my own measurements, I will be able to turn this snowbird castle of the south into our winter place of happiness.
In looking at the store locators I see that the nearest location would be that of Tampa. The pictures submitted are those from the previous owners.

Although open concept spaces can provide challenges, we have been inspired by your desire to create a light and airy dream winter escape!
For your living area near the front door, our Griffin Sofa with Brass nail heads in Basketweave Flax Sunbrella Fabric will provide an elegant beginning, when defined by our Alayna Rug in salmon & ivory. Larkin Swivel Gliders in our new tropical, yet sophisticated Tropics Taupe fabric will pair beautifully with the Griffin Sofa. Using our curved Connor Side Tables in both the living room and the a joining media area will create a flow between these two areas and soften the linear shapes of the sofas. Double Gourd Lamps with Spice Linen Shades will accent both the rug color as well as the colorful fabric in your dining area. A whitewashed, round Andrews table surrounded by Camille Tufted Upholstered Chairs in vibrant Nicolette Sky fabric will be perfect in your dining area. Researching on how to hide a 4 panel mirror installed floor to ceiling in our condo living room. I was planning on doing the following:
1-frame a center area of the mirror so it looks like a hung mirror with wood like trim using glue.
2- frame the outer edges including between the edges
3-use a peel and stick paneling look from the bottom up to 3 ft.
4-apply window decorative film to upper sections
5. Add trim wherever else needed.
