I just moved into my house 6 months ago after renovating the entire house inside and out, so I have a lot of decorating to do. You have such beautiful things on your website and in your catalog.
I wanted to know if you would be able to help me design my entry. I have attached pictures of the space for you to see. I can email you exact measurements, if needed.
Thank you so much for your help.
Andrea
Dear Andrea:
Thank you for your recent Decorating Dilemma. We love what you have done to the house! It is beautiful. After carefully looking at the foyer, we think we have a few suggestions for you to create a warm and welcoming foyer. For the wall to the left of the door – we chose the Ananda Table. It is a long sofa table (6’8”) but it is only 12” deep, so we think it will have a lot of presence. You can add the Chartres Buffet Lamps in Aged Silver for either end of the Ananda. The Buffet Shades can be in Small Black Check. Centered above the table is the Sol Mirror in a silver finish.
As for a rug for the foyer, we chose the Le Poeme Rug in black which comes in a few sizes. Because we have no dimensions, we cannot recommend a rug size. On the wall facing the front door, we think a small vignette will set a warm and inviting atmosphere. We love the Grammercy Chair in Off White Twill, angled toward the table. The chair is on the right. Next to the chair is a Terrific Table (24” diameter) and tablecloth in Small Black Check. The lamp placed on the table is from Suzanne Kasler’s Collection of Gourd Lamps in Bisque Cream. On the wall facing the door, arrange a Set of 5 Atelier Antlers that have a sunbleached white finish. It will give the wall real personality. On the far right flat wall (behind the staircase, we chose 2 Sepia Botanical Prints framed in black.
We hope that you find our suggestions helpful in completing your foyer. We think it is a winner! Please send us some feedback, and let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
Sincerely,
The Style Studio Team
