Lately, we’ve been inspired by tropical accents in our spaces. It instantly injects a summery feel into your room and transports you to your favorite vacation spot? While we encourage you to use tropical decor in your room, the table is an easy place to bring in the same feel without having to redecorate the whole house.
We found large palm leaves at a local florist and used them as placemats underneath our Bamboo Melamine Dinner Plates. We love letting one element, like palm leaves, inspire an entire setting, so to bring more of that bright green onto the table, we used a centerpiece of lemons and limes and sea green glassware.
Fruit is an easy, inexpensive centerpiece for your table and certainly brings in tons of color. We even scattered a few coconuts around the table as a quirky conversation starter.
When you’re not entertaining, bring in tropical accents with large palm leaves, green throw pillows, and decor in a citrus color palette. Sheer, breezy curtains let in plenty of natural light creating the open, airy feel you’d expect to see at a seaside resort.
Would you recreate this tropical table setting for your guests? What would you serve?
