Books are such a useful styling trick. Use them to elevate anything from candles to accessories to lamps when you need a little more height. On this Christmas mantel, we turned them around so the spines faced out and placed special ornaments on top. An easy way to add texture and height to your mantel. Voila!
Obviously you don’t have to turn the spines around, especially if you have plenty of books that coordinate with your color palette. Here, we elevated some mercury glass candles and urns.
